As a retired Veterinary Technician who took my cats to a veterinary dental specialty practice when I lived in Virginia, I was happy to find this practice on my Google search! While I live 6 hours away, after visiting their website and then speaking with the staff who patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions gave me the confidence that they were the best! They worked with me in scheduling the consultation and dental procedure to make it most convenient for me. My Sphynx cat, Mazama, has a newly diagnosed heart concern and the experience and board certification of Dr Martin (A Board-Certified Veterinary Dentist is a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC), having completed a DVM degree, an internship, a multi-year residency in oral surgery and dentistry, and rigorous written and practical board exams) and the staff of LVT’s (Licensed Veterinary Technicians) gave me the confidence that my cat was in the best hands! They reviewed with me a detailed estimate after Dr Martin examined him and considering the training and expertise of all the staff, I felt the cost was understandable and appropriate for the services provided. After I dropped my cat off, they kept me updated by texts from the time he received his pre-sedation to beginning the procedure to his recovery and discharge time. I highly recommend Premier Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery for their exceptional care and will see them again when his next dental cleaning is needed. I was happy to learn that for a 5 year old cat, who I adopted 2 years ago from rescue who had no previous dental care or medical records, that there were no hidden tooth resorption seen on Xrays and with daily brushing that he shouldn’t need another dental for another 5 years😻Posted on Google![]()

Mooch, my Belgian Malinois mix, ran head first into a gate and broke his canine tooth. Amanda Rang, DVM, Resident and Rebecca Martin DVM took such good care of him, extracting two teeth, performing a root canal, and building a titanium crown. It is beautiful and he is doing great. They took a high-drive, fearful 80 lb malligator and kept him as calm and comfortable as possible. I highly recommend Premier Pet Dentistry & Oral Surgery.Posted on Google![]()

I cannot say enough good things about the team at Premier Pet Dentistry. When my Alaskan Malamute, Blue, chipped the tip of her canine tooth, every vet and pet dental clinic we contacted in Vancouver told us extraction was the only option. Determined to save her tooth if possible, I expanded my search to Portland, found Premier, and was able to get a consultation the very next day. They immediately gave us hope by explaining they could perform a root canal and place a crown instead of pulling the tooth. What truly sets Premier apart, though, is their exceptional, compassionate care. Blue has separation anxiety and is reactive around other dogs due to an attack when she was younger. The entire team was incredibly patient with both of us from day one. For her root canal procedure, they went above and beyond to accommodate her needs—scheduling her as the first appointment of the day so she wouldn’t have to cross paths with other dogs in the clinic, and setting up a clear premedication plan for the night before and the morning of surgery to keep her calm. Leaving a reactive, anxious dog for anesthesia is always stressful, but the staff sent regular text updates throughout the day to let me know how Blue was doing and how the procedure was progressing. After the root canal, they took a mold, ordered a custom crown, and placed it during a quick follow-up visit. The entire staff at Premier Pet Dentistry is remarkably skilled, professional, and genuinely caring. Living in Washington meant an hour-plus commute each way, but I would make the drive again in a heartbeat if Blue ever needs dental work down the road. Thank you so much for saving her tooth and for taking such incredible care of my best friend during a stressful situation. We are beyond grateful!Posted on Google![]()

Our 14 year old Standard Poodle needed surgery for an abscess tooth and additional extractions. Premier gave updated texts during the procedures. Happily our dog went through without complications and is resting at home. Thanks to Premier we hope to have a few more years with our girl.Posted on Google![]()

I have a 17 year old Dachshund that had pretty severe tooth decay for years, which always greatly concerned me, but I felt I couldn't afford how much it cost for the dental surgery she needed. I also got mixed reactions from friends about whether to get the surgery done. Some said "Dog dental surgery!? give me a break" Insert eye rolling here. Anyway, I had the surgery done at Premier when I got the money together and I can say that to me it was one of the best things I've ever done for any living creature in my life. Belly is so much happier and out of pain. The team at Premier were the absolute best people I could have brought my dog to, I couldn't be happier with the well being I'm seeing in my little sweet Dachshund. Thank you Premier!Posted on Google![]()

My cat was diagnosed with cancer in her face at another vet office and given one month to live. I brought her to Premier and they not only removed the tumor but discovered it was never cancer. She is still in perfect health now seven months later - I couldn’t be more grateful and impressed with this Clinic! Photo shows Before Premier on left - After Premier on right.
